Collection: Teenage Engineering Choir

The Choir collection traces the origins of Teenage Engineering back to 2007, when four friends built a wooden, algorithm-driven choir of singing dolls for an Absolut Vodka art installation. That project — known as the Absolut Choir — became the creative foundation for everything that followed.

Each doll had its own voice, driven by custom software that selected and reinterpreted songs. The project didn’t just define an aesthetic — it led directly to the formation of Teenage Engineering and inspired future products like the OP-1 and Pocket Operators.

This collection celebrates that original spirit: playful, design-led, and rooted in experimentation with sound, technology, and craft.
