Meet Gisela, the mezzo-soprano from Germany – one of eight singing wooden dolls in the Teenage Engineering Choir. Expertly crafted from solid beech wood, Gisela features a built-in speaker module that expresses her warm, balanced mezzo-soprano voice with precision and charm.
Each choir member can perform pre-composed music or be controlled via MIDI keyboard, either singing solo or harmonising with up to 15 fellow singers through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection.
Every Gisela doll is unique, showcasing its own natural wood grain and individual tone. With 3–4 hours of continuous singing time, she’s always ready to perform, whether centre stage or as part of a full ensemble.
Gisela connects effortlessly with OP–1 Field, OP–Z, and other MIDI-compatible devices, as well as Ortho Remote for start, stop, and volume control – a harmonious blend of craftsmanship and technology.
