Meet Hatshepsut, the mezzo-soprano from Egypt – one of eight singing wooden dolls in the Teenage Engineering Choir. Expertly crafted from solid beech wood, Hatshepsut features a built-in speaker module that brings her smooth, expressive mezzo-soprano voice to life with stunning clarity.
Each choir member can perform pre-composed music or be controlled via MIDI keyboard, either singing solo or harmonising with up to 15 fellow singers through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection.
Every Hatshepsut doll is unique, with a natural wood grain pattern that gives each piece its own character. With 3–4 hours of continuous singing time, she’s always ready to lend her voice to your creative ensemble.
Hatshepsut connects easily with OP–1 Field, OP–Z, and other MIDI-compatible devices, as well as Ortho Remote for start, stop, and volume control – merging art, sound, and design into a harmonious experience.
