Meet Miki, the tenor from Japan – one of eight singing wooden dolls in the Teenage Engineering Choir. Crafted from solid beech wood, Miki features a built-in speaker module that delivers a smooth, resonant tenor voice with remarkable depth and clarity.
Each choir member can perform pre-composed music or be controlled via MIDI keyboard, either singing solo or harmonising with up to 15 fellow singers through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection.
Every Miki doll is unique, with its own natural wood grain pattern and individual tone character. With 3–4 hours of continuous singing time, he’s always ready to join the performance.
Miki pairs perfectly with OP–1 Field, OP–Z, and other MIDI-compatible devices, as well as Ortho Remote for start, stop, and volume control – ideal for creative compositions or ambient soundscapes.
