Austrian Audio OD505 Microphone

OD505 Active Dynamic

The Austrian Audio OD505 active dynamic microphone is designed to deliver outstanding vocal performance in any live setting. Featuring the handmade ODC50 dual capsule and Austrian Audio’s innovative 3D Pop Noise Diffuser, the OD505 captures vocals with stunning detail, while minimising plosives, bleed, and feedback.

Active Circuitry

With built-in active circuitry that boosts output by 6–8dB, your voice cuts through the mix with ease—perfect for long cable runs, high-volume stages, or when you need extra presence to reach the back row. The active front capsule delivers condenser-like sensitivity, while the passive lower capsule reduces handling noise and low-frequency rumble for a clean, consistent sound every time.

Built to withstand the demands of touring, the OD505 combines rugged durability with precision Austrian engineering, making it the ultimate live vocal mic for powerful and nuanced performances.
