The OC818 Dual Set Go is a premium matched pair of large-diaphragm condenser microphones, designed and handmade in Vienna for unrivalled versatility in studio and live recording. Each microphone features the renowned dual-diaphragm CKR12 ceramic capsule, engineered for stability, consistency and natural sound across all sources. Perfectly paired within 1 dB tolerance, the set is ideal for stereo applications such as drum overheads, choirs, ensembles and immersive recordings.

Each OC818 features four switchable polar patterns (cardioid, hypercardioid, omni and figure-8) plus a preset dual-cardioid mode, along with selectable pads (0, –10, –20 dB), two analogue high-pass filters and dual analogue outputs — including a discrete rear-diaphragm channel via mini XLR. Together, they offer immense creative flexibility for both traditional stereo and advanced multi-channel techniques.

Bluetooth Control

With OCR8 Bluetooth compatibility and the Polarpilot app, you can wirelessly adjust polar patterns, pads and filters in real time. The included software suite expands functionality further:

• PolarDesigner: Create custom polar responses across 1–5 crossover bands.
• StereoCreator: Experiment with stereo techniques such as X/Y, M/S and Blumlein.
• AmbiCreator: Generate Ambisonic B-format recordings for VR and immersive audio.

Open Acoustic Technology ensures a pure analogue signal path and an uncoloured, natural sound. Capable of handling SPLs up to 158 dB, the OC818 performs equally well on vocals, acoustic instruments, ensembles, electric guitar, and drums. It is also ideal for stereo and room recording applications. Available in silver or black.
