Austrian Audio OC18 Studio Set

OC18 Large Diaphragm

The Austrian Audio OC18 is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone that blends modern innovation with classic design, making it a reliable and versatile choice for any studio. Handcrafted in Vienna, it is built around the patented CKR6 ceramic capsule — a single-diaphragm version of the flagship CKR12 — delivering pristine clarity, natural warmth and unmatched consistency.

Thanks to Austrian Audio’s proprietary Open Acoustic Technology, the OC18 minimises internal resonance for a clean, transparent sound across all sources. It also features a switchable analogue high-pass filter (40 Hz, 80 Hz, 160 Hz) and two pad options (-10 dB, -20 dB) to ensure flawless performance, even with high-SPL instruments.

Factory Matched

Every OC18 is precision-measured for consistency and is guaranteed to match seamlessly with any other OC18, or even an OC818 in cardioid mode — giving you effortless flexibility for stereo or multi-mic setups. Whether for vocals, acoustic instruments, drums or ensembles, the OC18 is engineered to become a permanent fixture in your mic locker.
