The control knobs with white line is typically used for potentiometers that have 270 degrees of motion, and those without are used on encoders that have continuous rotation.

Had been looking for these for a few years since I lost 2 from my Nord Stage, one with white line, one without.
Ordered 2 of each at a fraction of the price I could find elsewhere...identical to original.

Service OK except that the invoice you sent me was more than I paid for the items. Thought the postage charge for 8 small knobs was somewhat excessive. They could have been sent by first class post.
